The Library page has been updated to allow easier searching through the University Library and quick access to eBooks. You can also find links to essential resources including; Center for Writing, Center for Mathematics, Student Labs, and Element K Tutorials.
Our online library continues to grow! ScienceDirect has just been added to the Journals Indexes and Abstracts section of the University Library. Take advantage of this new resource that includes full-text journals on various topics related to your courses today.
Signing up for workshops has never been easier! Recent changes have been done to the workshops that allow us to provide a more convenient way to search as well as locate workshop that interest you. This can be done by using the new workshop categories. The workshops are automatically sorted by your zip code to show you what's available in your area. Sign up today to help you succeed in areas important for your success at the University of Phoenix. You can get to the workshops by logging into the eCampus student website, clicking on the Program tab, then select Student Workshops under University Services.
Always on the go? Need a fast, convenient way to keep up with all the messages posted in your classroom? Now, you can use your iPhone or iPod Touch to access classroom discussion. To try this out, simply log into your student account with your iPhone as you normally do. From the homepage, click on discussion for your class and you will be taken to the new optimized class discussion design for iPhone. You will find that navigating through your forums, browsing through messages, creating and responding to messages, is easy, convenient, and always at your finger tips! Happy browsing!
We are proud to announce the release of Google Mail, provided by Google. This will be your official email client. On December 19th, your email will automatically migrate over to Google mail and your email address will remain the same. There is nothing for you do but enjoy the email client service! All your old emails will be transferred over to this new email box, as well as any new message you will receive. Please take a moment to look over and get acquainted with this new addition.
The eCampus homepage update includes a new arrangement for your most useful course information, including course name, dates, campus and instructor information in easier--to-read grids with new icons. Messages and special offers are highlighted in the right panel.
An updated program landing page lists the Services, University Services and University Publications links in one spot; everything from Schedule and Grades to the Alumni Network links are available to help you.
Over 200 self-paced business and technology tutorials have been added from Element K for you to utilize. To gain access to these useful tutorials, please visit the Library tab on your home page.
Do you need assistance with obtaining your username and/or password? Take a look at the new Username/Password help page, which is located on the login page of eCampus. This provides a more user-friendly technique to help you recover your information.
You may have noticed the Homepage has a bit of a different look. Recently, the items on the left side of our Homepage have been move to the right side. These items include Program Information, Quick Links, and others.
The “Learning Resources” tab has been renamed to “Library”. Please note that this is a name change only and all materials / items will remain the same. The “Library” includes the eBook Collection, University Library, Article Databases, Center for Writing Excellence, Center for Mathematics Excellence, the recent addition of Labs & Lounges, and much more.
Adding an attachment to one of your posts in discussion has never been easier. You will now see an interface that should be very familiar to you. We have updated our attachment method to the standard like most programs and sites. Now to add an attachment, click “Browse”, then using the window that appears find the location where you saved your file. Once you have found your document, click on it and press “Open”. On the main window, press the “Attach” button and you are ready to finish your message and post.
Our Tips / FAQs for discussion has been updated with a new friendlier version. Information is now easier to find and you will be posting like a pro in no time. Tips include sorting messages, color coding messages, flagging messages, customizing the spell check, and rich text editor explanations. Don’t forget to check out the frequently asked questions link for more helpful information.
We received a lot of feedback to add the student workshops. You can now find the link to them under the Program tab in the University Services section. In addition to the new link, the deadline for registering for Workshops has been extended to 11:59 PM (AZ Time) the day before the Workshop starts.
The student labs have made it to the new eCampus! These labs are forums in which students may seek assistance in a general question and answer format for a specific content area. To learn more about lab forums, you can find them by clicking on the Learning Resources tab.
This What's New page is an easy way to keep track of updates and new features for eCampus. Select the "What's New" link from the top right corner of eCampus to view a summary of new features available for students and faculty.
If eCampus looks a bit different, that's because we're updating our look along with our parent site, Phoenix.edu. Find everything you need in your eCampus from the newly updated header navigation bar. As before, the top level links are Home, Classroom, Learning Resources, Program, and Account. Your selected tab is easy to spot – we’ve made it dark blue. The subcategories for each section are also in dark blue.
Recently, we have included three Contact Us links in the footer of eCampus: Report a Problem, Ask a Question, and Share a Thought. Use the separate forms to ask us questions, tell us about any problems you are experiencing, and give us your ideas and opinions about eCampus. We have received hundreds of submissions already, which have provided us valuable input for improving everyone's eCampus experience.
Your course ID will now display in the upper left corner under the classroom tab.
We received a lot of feedback and have recently added the Arizona time display. The time now displays in the upper right hand corner when you are in the classroom tab.
Rich Text Editor for creating and replying to messages in discussion has been upgraded. New formatting features include bulleting and numbering. Also, the Rich Text Editor now supports Safari for Mac.
